HSS 5 Step Design Process

Step 1: Scope of Work, Estimate and Contract

Here at HSS Custom AV we believe that a detailed scope of work is the foundation of our company's success in home automation. After discussing our clients requirements and aspirations the scope of work is prepared. We always take into account your budget, aesthetic preferences, functionality, energy efficiency and future technological needs.

Step 2: Design & Documentation 

As your home automation designer we will design a low voltage plan around your new or remodel home design to best suit your needs. Laying out locations and descriptions of all wire to be installed such as TV, Phone, and Data locations, also any lighting and A/V product locations. This allows us to give you the client a better understanding of how your home automation project will come together and allow us to better consult with the architect and builder. 

Step 3: Cabling and Infrastructure Installation

At this step HSS will install all the audio visual, communications and data cabling infrastructures as commonly known as structured wiring.

Step 4: Product Installation & Programming

Installation of all equipment is installed during this process such as televisions, speakers, security, surveillance cameras, lighting controls and remotes which are all programmed to integrate with all corresponding components.

Step 5: Client Training

HSS's #1 prioity is our clients. We understand that new technology can be uncharted territory to most and will properly instruct you on use of your remotes, security, touch panels etc.
